Microcredit - Vietnam

ICEAL carry out projects of micro credit in Vietnam’s remote zones to remedy the banking systems deficiencies by excluding the poorest people.

Poor families living in remote areas have no means to develop their activities and to improve their living conditions. That’s why micro credit is an important strategic booster for the economic development. In partnership with Women Union from villages, ICEAL granted micro credit  to allow families to buy production tools, and animals husbandry. ICEAL follows the progress of their business , give them advice and aid.

Logic framework of micro credit project

Target  : Enhance enterprising spirit, local and economic development, creation of wealth and value.
Special target  : allow small projects to develop, give the means to the families improving their living conditions by work.
Results assessments  : 3 conditions are necessary to reach this project’s  target :
(1) If at least 95% of applications are accepted, or if 10 projects are réalised in a stable and perennial manner the first year following the start of the project;
(2) If the micro credit project is gainful, and the accounts equilibrated . The loan refund has reached 90% of the initial amount ;
(3) If the families has improved their living conditions and could lend in their turn small sums to other families of the village.
